Chris appears on BBC Three Counties Radio

It’s been a very exciting week here at the BTC Stevenage! Firstly, we’ve been busy networking with our fellow BTC-dwellers at “The Big Thank You” expo (photo by @SebBJones) run by the fantastic Wenta team. Secondly, in the afternoon we were visited by Roberto Perrone of BBC Three Counties Radio.

It was a fantastic experience to speak to Roberto live on 3CR. During our ten-minute conversation we talked about mobile apps, how to create a winning website, and the thriving business environment developing in Stevenage.

Sketching away

During the expo we were able to show off some of our recent work in the field of live-sketching over the web. Having recently developed a live chat and sketching app for HK Jewellery we made good use of developer Daniel Chenery's wizardry to create a fun game for attendees to get involved with.

Anyone passing by on the day could simply visit the URL displayed on the stand with their smartphone, and then take control of our big screen sketch canvas.

Of course, it is very difficult to draw on a smartphone when you are standing in the middle of an expo, so we decided to award a prize for the funniest drawing of the day! Congrats to Chloe Brazier of Vincent Giddings, for winning the champagne.
